As the business continues to grow, it is looking to hire a capable and motivated National Account Manager for one of its biggest customers, Walmart.
The role will be based in the company’s Bentonville office on a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
The National Account Manager will report directly to the Walmart Team Lead and oversee the U.S. Walmart business. This role is responsible for driving sales, profit, and market share growth across assigned categories, while strengthening the company’s position as a key partner at Walmart .
- Lead annual planning processes to achieve revenue, profit, and market share goals across assigned categories and Walmart.com.
- Collaborate with Walmart merchants through Joint Business Planning, annual reviews, and category strategy sessions.
- Translate shopper, customer, and category insights into actionable strategies that drive growth.
- Manage Walmart.com business performance, including item setup, content optimization, and promotional planning.
- Align digital initiatives with in-store programming to ensure a cohesive brand experience.
- Utilize Walmart Connect and retail media tools to increase traffic and conversion.
- Conduct post-event analyses to evaluate ROI and inform future investment decisions.
- Develop accurate SKU-level forecasts in partnership with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
- Monitor and report business performance using business analytical tools.
- Ensure forecast accuracy and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Partner with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Category Management, Finance, and Supply Chain for seamless execution.
- Provide customer insights to inform innovation, assortment, and pricing strategies.
- Liaise with agency partners to optimize retail media and creative activation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Walmart buyers and internal cross-functional teams.
- Serve as a trusted category advisor, using data-driven insights to influence strategic decisions.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.5 to 20 years’ progressive experience in CPG sales and account managementProven track record developing and implementing omni channel sales strategies.Prior Walmart account management experience required; beauty or personal care category experience strongly preferred.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong understanding of retail media and proficient in Retail Link DSS and Walmart supplier systems.Strong financial acumen with ability to use complex data to build business cases with storytelling and executive ready presentations.Collaborative with an influencer mindset with proven ability to lead without direct authority.A team player with low ego and “can do” attitude.Willingness and able to travel up to 20% for business needs.SE#510763616
