      Key Responsibilities :

      24-Hour Call Coverage

      Provide comprehensive care to trauma patients during 24-hour shifts, from 8 a.m. to 8 a.m.

    • This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care in a Level II trauma center setting.
    • The PA will handle unassigned patients and must be capable of performing necessary procedures independently.
    • Clinical Requirements

      Candidates must be board-certified as a Physician Assistant and hold an active medical license in California (CA).

    • Required certifications include ACLS ATLS , and BLS
    • Experience in trauma care, particularly in a Level II to Level I trauma center, is essential.
    • Familiarity with Athena and Cerner EMR systems is required to ensure seamless documentation and patient management.
    • Shifts

      The position involves multiple 24-hour shifts throughout the month, providing flexibility for those who can commit to this demanding schedule.

    • This role is designed for a PA who is confident in their trauma care abilities and can work effectively in high-pressure situations.
    • Additional Details : Temporary Privileges

      While the estimated credentialing timeframe is 30-60 days, temporary privileges are available for a quicker start, allowing you to begin making an impact sooner.
