Program Development Manager

About This Role
We believe people should love what they do in this role, you will be responsible for :
- Responsible for identifying, qualifying, vetting, shaping, and developing global Uncrewed Surface Vehicles business opportunities that directly support Textron Systems AOP / LRP goals and objectives
- Formulate and execute on market entry strategies by developing long-term relationships with key stakeholders
- Identify, assess and develop new opportunities to fill BD Pipeline
- May act as lead for small and / or large opportunities in conjunction with the Director of Program Development and Senior Director of Programs
- Support capture process acting as lead for O-Gate thru S-Gates
- Shape and influence assigned opportunities assigned to turn into orders
- Act as main point of contact for external customers including likely to interaction with senior personnel in government / military organizations
- Responsible for working with Textron's international business partners and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure Textron Systems' products can meet customer's system performance requirements and delivery schedules (ISC, engineering, finance, programs, legal / compliance)
- Responsible for generating, submitting, and managing all required license applications necessary for targeted customers
- Responsible for maintaining a top-level understanding of the status of each of the Textron Systems portfolio products necessary to support initial customer discussions without the physical presence of a product SME
- Represent Textron / Textron Systems at key trade shows and events (domestic and international)
- Ensure that all parties, internal and external customers, are well informed and aligned in efforts and expectations
- Support a single or several product / program line(s) within the business (dependent on size)
- Provide input to support overall objectives and long-range goals of the business unit / line
- May have direct reports
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 5-years of direct USV Experience required, sUSV preferred.Bachelor's degree in applied sciences, business or engineering preferred, master's degree in business or engineering, a plusThorough understanding of complex government processes and proceduresPrevious Military experience preferred (enlisted or civian)Ability to present / receive technical briefing to / from senior government officialsAbility to obtain and maintain US SECRET Clearance requiredAbility to travel domestic and international (25%)Establish credibility in US Government and DoDHow We Care
