About the role
The Per Diem Therapist is an integral part of the primary care treatment team. They will manage clients with medical and eating disorder concerns. This includes providing skill training through patient education strategies and developing specific behavioral / therapeutic treatment plans for patients. The Consulting Therapist will assist primary health care providers in recognizing and treating clients.

Establishes positive, trusting rapport with clientsDiagnoses and treats mental health disorders with the utmost compassion, integrity, and commitment to excellenceCreates and updates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstancesConducts individual and family therapyCreates individualized therapeutic and experiential opportunities for clientConducts ongoing assessments of patient progress and coordinates and arranges for services needed on a patient-by-patient basisConducts group therapy sessions according to program scheduleMaintains thorough records of patient meetings and progressFollows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentialityCommunicates regularly with outpatient providers to ensure continuity of careAttends staff and treatment team meetings to consult on individual casesQualifications
Minimum of a Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related fieldMust be a fully-licensed counselor, therapist or social worker that is able to practice independently in the state(s) licensedMinimum of 1 year of experience treating patients with eating disorders and disordered eatingMust be empathic, genuine, self-aware and competent.Must take initiative, demonstrate sound judgment and demonstrate strong interpersonal and time management skills.Experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), experiential therapies, family therapy, mindfulness and / or other modalities is desirable.It is required that the psychotherapist demonstrate understanding of and sensitivity towards issues of cultural diversity including, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, gender expression, weight, and size.Physical and Environmental Requirements :
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the timeMust be able to operate a computer and navigate an application within a smart-phone & / or tabletThis position conducts telehealth visits. The candidate must be able to converse with clients, families, and colleagues in a professional mannerVision required to see computer monitor and smartphone / tabletThis is a work-from-home position. Work should be performed in a private, quiet space with minimal background noiseThe pay range for this role is :
