The Human Resources Administrator will be a key member of the team by coordinating various people-focused activities, including recruiting and retention efforts, and facilitating employee engagement and recognition company events. The ideal candidate must be a strong team player and should have a broad knowledge of all human resources functions with an emphasis on recruitment, onboarding, safety, and employee relations.
Essential Duties :
- Works closely with Human Resources and Business Leadership to implement organizational strategies that optimize the performance and overall effectiveness of human resources.
- Conduct sourcing and recruitment for his / her assigned location and provide support for Corporate roles.
- Ensure all employee records are up-to-date by processing changes in the HRIS and maintaining employee files in electronic and paper form.
- Assist in the administration of leaves of absence.
- Provide support to employees on HR-related topics.
- Assist in the implementation of human resources policies and programs.
- Develops understanding of business strategy and how that strategy translates to the People organization.
- Work with Human Resources team to facilitate benefits claims efficiently and consistently, audits, monthly billings, return to work programs, wage audits, work restrictions and modified duties.
- Manage current and develop (as necessary) new temporary labor vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with employment and labor regulations.
- Liaise with payroll.
- Champion and drive the company’s mission and values.
Qualifications :
1-2 years of previous experience in Human Resources & RecruitingPreferred : HR & Recruiting experience within a manufacturing environmentUnderstanding of HR best practices, compliance, and current regulations.Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretionHRIS and Microsoft Office proficiencyPhysical Demands :
Required to sit for long period of time; infrequent light physical effort required.Occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.
