experienced Oncology Registered Nurse for an exciting Travel

Nursing job in Atlanta, GA. Shift : 3x12 hr days Start Date :

01 / 05 / 2026 Duration : 13 weeks Pay : $2016 / Week

Registered Nurse job duties

While job duties may vary depending on the facility you work with,

here are some common Oncology RN responsibilities

Monitor and assess

patients' vital signs and overall health, identifying and

responding to any changes promptly.

Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous fluids as

prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and

adherence to protocols.

Demonstrated knowledge and competence with regard to nursing

theories, concepts and practices; medical terminology; anatomy; and

physiology.

Working knowledge of

the healthcare industry, safety precaution policies, best practices

regarding patient care and privacy, and changes in

local / state / federal regulations.

Document patients' medical histories, assessments,

treatments, and progress accurately and promptly in electronic

health records

Possess written and

verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information

clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including

non-medical people.

Coordinate

patient transfers to other departments or facilities as required,

ensuring seamless continuity of care.

Basic knowledge of computer

applications, including Electronic Medical Record.

Prioritize assignments and work

within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods to

achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

Work independently, as well as be

part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an

environment with interruptions.

Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment by adhering to

infection control protocols and safety guidelines
