Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Parts Advisor who has a knowledge and passion for automotives repairs and projects! As a parts advisor, you will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent experience by helping identify any repair parts they may need. Starting wage based on previous experience. Winter schedule is Monday- Friday 8 : 30am-5pm. Come spring, the schedule is Tuesday-Saturday. Pay raise opportunities based on longevity, loyalty, and ability to build a solid rapport with customers.
Responsibilities
Process customer orders and recommend additional related repair itemsAssist customers with identifying the parts they may needMaintain records of time, expenses, and materialsTake added responsibility for stocking, inventory and maintenanceCollect payments by cash and credit cardDevelop and maintain solid product knowledge to best help customersAnswer phones and assist customers with questionsProcess incoming paperwork, make photocopies, and file paperworkQualifications
Great customer service skillsStrong communication skillsOrganizational and time management skillsWorking knowledge of computer programsUnderstanding of basic automotive components and systemsPrevious parts advisor experience (2yrs preferred)Ability to multi-task in fast-paced work environment
