A day in the life

Start your first shift at our Bentleyville Facility in Charleroi, PA (Gardner Denver Nash - 200 Simko Blvd. Charleroi, PA 15022) at 5am and wrap at 130pm. You’ll join a team that assembles complex machinery to exacting standards. Your morning may begin balancing a rotating assembly — first statically, then dynamically — before moving to the crane bay to position components with an overhead crane or a forklift. After lunch, you’ll dive into blueprint-driven assembly, applying torque specs with the right tools, recording critical measurements, and flagging any quality or safety concerns you notice along the way. Asking questions is encouraged — it’s how we build mastery.

What you’ll do

• Perform static and dynamic balance on rotating assemblies.
• Stage, move, and align parts using a forklift and / or overhead crane.
• Assemble equipment per customer specifications and blueprints using standard and specialty tools; follow torque specifications and document measurements.
• Proactively raise questions to deepen process understanding.
• Identify and report product defects and unsafe conditions.
