We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrician / Gynecologist for a locum tenens assignment in Maryland. This opportunity begins on Dec 26, 2025, and consists of two 24-hour call shifts (7a-7a) covering deliveries and emergent gynecologic surgeries. The assignment spans 2 days and offers the chance to provide critical care in a dynamic hospital environment. Job Details Location : Maryland Start Date : Dec 26, 2025 LOA : 2 days Provider Type Needed : Obstetrician / Gynecologist Schedule : 24-hour call shifts (7a-7a) on Dec 26, 2025, and Jan 22, 2026 Responsibilities and Duties Cover all deliveries and emergent gynecologic surgeries during assigned 24-hour call Perform scheduled cesareans as assigned by the service (typically 1-2 per day) Round on antepartum and postpartum patients (approximately 7-10 per day) Respond to emergent situations within the scope of obstetrics and gynecology Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient care Additional Information Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required Active Maryland medical license required (IMLC not accepted) DEA and CSR licensure required Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, CPR Minimum of 2 years experience in obstetrics and gynecology Inductions by V-BACS required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
