Description : Scope :

The SLP will provide high-quality, client-centered, and evidence-based speech therapy services. This role involves conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and collaborating closely with families and professionals from other disciplines. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children across a variety of developmental levels and communication disorders, and a passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of young clients and their families.

Full-time, part-time, hourly, salaried, and 1099 / contractor opportunities available at our Lawrenceville Location

Key Responsibilities :

Clinical Excellence & Service Delivery

  • Provide direct speech therapy services, including assessments, treatment planning, and intervention that are ethical and evidence-based.
  • Provide best practice speech-language therapy services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) through assessment and intervention.
  • Develop and facilitate active, natural learning using evidence-based treatment methods.
  • Implement data-driven decision-making and quality assurance measures.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of speech, language, AAC / AT, and feeding / swallowing abilities in pediatric clients.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and family input.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation including evaluation reports, session notes, and progress summaries.
  • Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals (BCBA, OT, PT, ) to support generalization of therapy goals.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, continuing education, and in-service training.
  • Educate and counsel families on communication strategies and home programs to support continued progress.
  • Compliance & Ethical Standards :

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as professional ethical standards.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with industry and organizational policies.
  • Advocate for patient rights and ensure equitable access to services.
  • Qualifications & Skills :

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current license (or eligibility for licensure) to practice in Georgia
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) status
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in clinical, educational, or private practice settings
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
  • Preferred Qualifications :
  • Experience with early intervention and / or preschool populations
  • Familiarity with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) systems
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
  • Previous experience in a multi-disciplinary setting.
  • Knowledge of sensory integration and other co-occurring developmental needs

  • Physical Demands :

  • Must be able to maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods.
  • Must be willing and able to restrain / hold / transport as indicated in Behavior Intervention Plans.
  • Must have manual dexterity for data collection and use of electronic devices.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Stamina to remain alert and energetic during sessions.
  • Working Conditions :

  • Frequent travel to center locations may be required.
  • May involve weekend or evening work depending on operational needs.

    Requirements :
