    We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team, responsible for the maintenance and repair of a diverse range of vehicles and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be adept at diagnosing and resolving issues with various types of machinery, including trucks, excavators, cranes, ATVs and trailers. This role requires a commitment to quality, workmanship, and excellent attention to detail.

    • Duties
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, including tractor-trailers, forklifts, and heavy equipment.
    • Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics.
    • Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, and HVAC systems.
    • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for assembly and repair tasks.
    • Execute tire service and brake repair as needed.
    • Fabricate parts or components when necessary to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
    • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
    • Provide exceptional communications effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
    • Experience
    • Previous experience as a mechanic or service technician is required;
    • Proficiency in working with OEM parts and understanding schematics for various types of vehicles.
    • Able to troubleshoot.
    • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and repair techniques.
    • Strong mechanical knowledge encompassing automotive repair, equipment repair, and maintenance practices.
    • Experience with electrical systems.
    • Ability to lift heavy objects safely as required during repairs.
    • A valid driver’s license is necessary; additional certifications related to heavy machinery operation will be advantageous.       Pay : From $28.00 per hour

      Expected hours : 40 – 50 per week
