Sewing Machine Operator

Openwork is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Sewing Machine Operator job in Piedmont. As a Sewing Machine Operator you will be responsible for operating the sewing machine and keeping your machine stocked with thread to manufacture pet beds and pet products. This is a climate controlled facility and does NOT require steel toes. The company is a pet friendly environment. If you are an animal lover this is the perfect company for you!

Responsibilities for this Sewing Machine Operator job include :

• Read a ruler or tape measure to ensure the product is the correct size.
• Loading thread, bobbins, and other materials, and mounting attachments like needles and cutting blades.
• Checking for problems like thread breaks or defective stitching.
• Keep machines stocked with thread.

Qualifications :

Hours and Work Schedule : 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm, Monday-Friday.

Pay rate : $14.00+ depending on experience.
