Minimum Qualifications
Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.CPR Certification.Preferred Experience
New Grads and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply!Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.A desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care.Clinical needs as required by the office.Physical Requirements
Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office / Doctor / Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions, arranged during the pre-employment process.At Heartland Dental, we’re committed to our core values that promote diversity and inclusion.
