Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

HealthCare Support is actively seeking Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to fill an opening with a large managed care company in The Villages, FL.

Daily Responsibilities for Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant :

Provide Primary and Family evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.

Provide administrative duties to include but not limited to opening / closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment.

Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes

Perform duties including speaking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care

Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, chronic condition management

Shift : M-F 8 : 30a-7 : 30p, Sat 9a-5 : 30p, Sun 9a-4 : 30p. Weekends will be required

Required Qualifications for Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant :

A minimum of 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant in either a family medicine or primary care practice. If not, successful completion of CVS Minute Clinic primary care training program.

Working knowledge and understanding of quality measurement in the management of chronic disease conditions

Board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Clear and active NP / PA license in the state of Florida

Covid vaccination

BLS Certification

Pay : $75 - $78 an hour
