Responsibilities

• Take ownership of all accounting functions - AP, AR, GL Accounting, and Financial Reporting will all fall under your umbrella. You will be given autonomy to build out processes and leverage your software knowledge to improve the accounting for this company
• Lead all aspects of job cost analysis with the owner, finding ways to make every project more profitable and successful
• Be heavily involved in multi-state payroll - This company works in a couple of different states, and you will oversee the payroll for the firm
• Be the owner's right-hand employee and assist with legal entity structuring, risk management, and various other strategic and operational projects to help with long-term success
• Oversee the accounting clerk that will help with day-to-day accounting activities
