Engineering Manager

This role is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company that is at the forefront of innovation in the automation industry. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of skilled engineers in designing and implementing cutting-edge warehouse and materials handling equipment, with a focus on conveyors, sortation systems, and packaging systems.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing direction and support in the design and implementation of warehouse and materials handling equipment.
  • Ensure the successful execution of projects by balancing technical excellence with business objectives.
  • Oversee the mechanical and controls engineering teams, ensuring effective collaboration and project management.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with team members, encouraging teamwork and effective communication.
  • Travel to vendor and customer sites for system startup and support, approximately 20% of the time.

Essential Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, controls engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership / management role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and PDM / PLM tools.
  • Strong understanding of modern design and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license or eligibility to receive one.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications :

  • Experience in the pharmacy industry.
  • Proven ability to maintain positive working relationships and effective teamwork.
  • Initiative-taking attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • Work Environment :

You will work with a diverse team, including a remote lead controls engineer and a mechanical engineering team of 8-10 people.     Job Type & Location :

    This is a Permanent position based out of Aurora, CO.

    Pay and Benefits :

    The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $145000.00 / yr. health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, etc.

    Workplace Type :

    This is a fully onsite position in Aurora, CO.
