What You'll Do
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in supporting students’ communication development and overall academic success. Your responsibilities will include :
Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs.
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Delivering engaging and effective therapy sessions in both individual and small group settings.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor and support student progress.
Tracking student development and making data-informed adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
Maintaining detailed, accurate, and up-to-date documentation of sessions, evaluations, and progress reports.
What You Bring to the Team
A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
A valid Pennsylvania SLP license (required).
Proven experience conducting speech and language evaluations (required).
Prior experience working with children and adolescents in a school-based setting.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support student growth.
Completion of required background checks, including Pennsylvania Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Background Check.
