Pathology Physician

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced physician to work locum Pathology shifts in Weston, WV. Starting in November 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Pathology Role :

• locum role Dates - 11 / 1 / 2025- ongoing
• Locations-Weston, WV
• Shifts- Mon- Fri, 8 : 00 - 17 : 00- plus call back
• Procedures- comfortable with occasional frozen section, cytology : urines, Bronch washes and brushes, pleural and ascitic fluids. Thyroid FNAs go to LabCorp
• Mostly adult; rare pediatric peripheral smear reviews, otherwise, for peds specimens are tonsils and appendix.
• EMR- Cerner / Paragon

Average cases- GI, GYN, breast biopsy and rare excisions, occasional skin cancer (melanomas are sent out), Detzel's
