Compensation
The pay for this position is $35-$40 per hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
A 401(k) with a company match is available to full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
Highlights
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
Shift : 7 : 00 p.m. – 7 : 30 a.m. (12-hour nights, 36-hour weekly guarantee)
Weekend rotation : Every other weekend
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, Mid-level Provider, or Physician.
Contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Collect and monitor assessment data; report physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
Educate patients and families about treatments, medications, and procedures.
Document care provided via computer / written records according to established guidelines.
Communicate and collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain a clean work environment, ensuring equipment is in proper working condition and reporting malfunctions.
Participate in quality monitoring and safety initiatives as directed by leadership.
Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical behavior at all times.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Graduate of an approved nursing program (required)
Active, unrestricted LPN License – State of Michigan (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – AHA or ARC (required within 90 days of hire)
Valid Michigan Driver’s License (required for certain departments)
Successful completion of competency-based orientation program
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
Associate Degree or equivalent education (preferred)
Healthcare experience (preferred)
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
Commitment to ethical practice, safety, and quality patient outcomes
