Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assess patient therapy for appropriateness, including age-specific modifications and interventions to prevent adverse drug events.
• Conduct clinical research and engage in professional development activities to stay at the forefront of oncology pharmacy practice.
• Serve as a liaison between the pharmacy and other departments, providing operational support and educational services for new treatment regimens.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of regulations governing preparation of intravenous admixtures, chemotherapy, and sterile products.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel to ensure pliance and quality.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring adequate medication stock for oncology practice.
• Develop and update department and nursing policies for safe and effective medication use.
• Collaborate with the oncology team to standardize ordering procedures for chemotherapeutic medications.

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

Licensed Pharmacist with specialized experience in oncology pharmacy.

Strong clinical knowledge of chemotherapy preparation and sterile product regulations.

Proven ability to supervise pharmacy staff and coordinate cross-departmental initiatives.

Excellent munication skills to provide training and support to healthcare teams.

Experience in clinical research and protocol development is a plus.
