Job description

Warehouse Associate Location :

  • Cerritos, CA Type : Full-Time About EquipNet EquipNet partners with some of the world’s largest manufacturers to help them buy, sell, and manage surplus capital equipment.
  • We support multiple industries including consumer packaged goods, pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, and electronics.
  • We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team.
  • This role plays a critical part in supporting daily warehouse operations and reports directly to the Director of Warehouse Operations.

Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations :

  • Perform day-to-day activities to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse processes.

    • Client Support :

  • Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding the receiving and shipping of their equipment.

    • Inventory Management :

  • Receive, validate, and accurately catalog equipment while optimizing available storage space.

    • Order Fulfillment :

  • Prepare equipment for shipment with proper handling according to type and destination.

    • Cycle Counts :

  • Conduct quarterly physical inventory checks to maintain accurate stock records.

    • Space Optimization :

  • Recycle and reorganize equipment to maximize warehouse efficiency.
  • Requirements 3-5 years of prior experience in warehouse operations is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and perform basic preventative maintenance and refurbishment tasks.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
  • Forklift operation experience required (both sitting and stand-up models).
