Must-Have : References must be from a direct supervisor (not a charge RN)
Description :
Holiday RTO restrictions apply.
Travelers can have one of three major holidays and three additional non-holiday days not blocked.
Holiday dates are restricted from 11 / 22-12 / 1, 12 / 22-12 / 27, and 12 / 28-1 / 5.
The facility highly prefers travelers to work during Christmas.
Floating to other ICUs and border areas should be expected.
Ratios are 1 : 2.
Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, and travelers are asked to be flexible for unit needs.
The facility can call off one shift per two-week pay period.
Candidates should have experience in high volume, high acuity, teaching, and trauma settings.
Daily patient census averages around 16.
The unit cares for Cardiac ICU patients and overflow from other critical care areas.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
Basic familiarity with the Epic charting system is required.
Candidates will need to float within the facility.
References are required, with a preference for supervisory or charge references.
Modules for training are non-billable and will need to be completed prior to starting.
Travelers should disclose any background issues at the time of submission.
Candidates who have worked previously at this facility must have been separated for at least 18 months before applying again.
