In 2020, WorldWide Electric acquired the Louis Allis Company. Founding in 1901, Louis Allis produced specialty motors for unique and demanding applications. Industrial, military, and municipal customers from around the world trust Louis Allis to provide specialty motors up to 20,000 hp. In July 2021 WorldWide Electric acquired the frequency converter and generator producer, Georator Corporation. And in October 2021, WorldWide Electric acquired Gleason-Avery, a specialty OEM gearmotor manufacturer.
In January 2024 WorldWide Electric purchased North American Electric which has helped expand our company specifically in the electric motors and motor controls area and providing our customers with product availability, value and quality of service.

Position Overview
The Data Analytics Manager will lead the development and execution of the company's data and analytics strategy, delivering insights that drive operational efficiency, revenue growth, and enhanced customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role that will evolve into building and managing a high-performing analytics team. The position works cross-functionally with executive leadership and departmental stakeholders to embed data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement a company-wide data analytics strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor on how data can enhance performance, customer experience, and business growth.
- Build and lead a high-performing analytics team over time, while being hands-on in the early stages of development.
- Data & Reporting Infrastructure
- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards for executive and functional leaders.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to improve data collection, storage, and visualization workflows.
- Standardize reporting processes across departments to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability.
- Business Intelligence
- Design, develop, and manage the company's Power BI environment for enterprise-wide reporting and insights.
- Integrate Power BI with cloud-based data lake infrastructure to enhance real-time analytics capabilities.
- Analyze trends in sales, pricing, inventory, customer behavior, and supply chain performance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning through advanced data modeling.
- Partner with department leaders to understand data needs and deliver actionable solutions.
- Tools & Technology
- Select, implement, and manage business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Utilize SQL, Python, R, or other analytics tools to conduct deeper-level analyses as needed.
- Advocate for data quality, integrity, and best practices across all business systems.
- Data Governance
- Establish and enforce data governance policies, including data quality, access, and security standards.
- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to ensure data is trusted, accessible, and well-documented.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).5+ years of progressive experience in data analytics or business intelligence, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.Industry experience in distribution, wholesale, supply chain, or related field strongly preferred.Deep expertise in Power BI, including dashboard design, DAX, and data modeling.Proficient in Excel and SQL; experience with Python or R is a plus.Experience integrating Power BI with data lake solutions.Strong communication skills with the ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.Proven project management capabilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive data-informed decision-making.
