Mobile Service Technician
Stoneham Ford is looking for a Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team! We are the number 1 Ford Commercial Fleet Dealer in New England. We are looking for the right candidate that will be independent and have a strong service technician background. B-level technician qualifications and ASE certifications are but not required. The day-to-day duties include traveling in the Mobile Service van to our commercial fleet customer workplaces and homes to handle basic service needs and recalls.
Responsibilities
- Work On the Move : Enjoy the freedom of working out in a fully-equipped mobile van, bringing service directly to our commercial fleet customers.
- Able to drive and maintain a company vehicle responsibly.
- Travel in the Mobile Service van to commercial fleet customers and homes to handle basic service needs and recalls.
- Communicate with the Mobile Service Coordinator, Parts Department and Dealer Management regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication.
- Organize and prepare for the day's appointments and manage time effectively.
- Communicate with customers to advise of vehicle issues that will require a trip to the dealership.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to ensure high-quality service standards.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer's specifications and safety standards during all repair and maintenance procedures.
- Stay informed of Ford technical bulletins and complete required training.
- Access PTS for technician, vehicle capacities, specifications and OASIS Monitoring (searching for any FSA's).
Qualifications
Experience and training as an automotive technician. Ford & Lincoln expertise is helpful but not required.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and customer service abilities.Ability to work independently and efficiently in a mobile environment.Certification from a recognized automotive training program or vocational school, and / or ASE or similar certification is not required.Benefits
