Travel OR Technician CVOR jobs in Houston, TX offer you the chance to work in a dynamic surgical environment at the facility, located in the heart of the Texas Medical Center. As a CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) Certified Surgical Technologist, you will provide expert perioperative patient care, assist physicians during operative and invasive procedures, and operate specialized surgical equipment and instrumentation. You must be a graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program, hold current certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS). At least 2 years of cardiovascular (open heart) experience is required, along with strong knowledge of aseptic technique and advanced surgical practices. Experience in mentoring, staff training, and perioperative care is recommended for this role.
