Job description

We are looking for a Web Applications Developer (CMS)   to support our client based in Miami, FL.

US BASED CANDIDATES ONLY.   This is an  onsite  position.

Candidates must be located or willing to locate to South Florida / Miami.

The Opportunity TECKpert is seeking an Web Applications Developer (CMS) to support our client, a government agency in Miami, FL.

This role focuses on development and support of Content Management Systems (CMS) used by the agency.

The developer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and integrating CMS applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and alignment with agency business needs.

Job duties include, but are not limited to :

  • Develop and maintain applications within the agency’s CMS environment.
  • Enhance existing CMS workflows and content features.
  • Integrate CMS with internal and external systems.
  • Perform debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Provide documentation and technical support for CMS applications.
  • Compensation and Term  This opportunity is for a full-time, contract position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to  $120,000  per year.
  • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.

    • Qualifications you need A successful candidate has the following experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in application / software development.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong background in web development, debugging, and system integration.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall development methodologies.
