Title : OB Practice Consultant

Virtual : This role enables associates to work virtually full-time with the exception of required in-person training sessions providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity supports work-life integration and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development.

The OB Practice Consultant is responsible for creating a partnership relationship with providers and key health plan leads to support initiatives and ensure our members receive a fully integrated and accountable system of care.

Primary duties may include but are not limited to :

Assess current practice patterns assets and challenges utilizing NCQA Standards HEDIS audits site reviews and medical records reviews.

In partnership with the OB provider evaluate the results of the initial assessment.

Establishes a project plan with the practice that establishes goals and objectives for improvement.

Provides ongoing practice support and sustains the partnership. Establishes regular meetings to track progress.

Improves the understanding and sensitivity to the unique needs of this population and the caregivers.

Ensures OB providers are offering evidenced-based care to members and driving quality improvement.

Minimum Requirements :

Requires AS in nursing and minimum of 5 years of managed care experience and minimum of 2 years of clinical experience and minimum of 2 years of professional presentations to small and large audiences; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Current unrestricted clinical license appropriate to field of specialty (LVN / LPN RN NP PA LCSW LSW etc.) as required.

Preferred Skills / Experience / Education :

BSN or MSN preferred.

2 years of combination of OB / GYN Mother / Baby L&D clinical experience highly preferred.
