• Registered Nurse (RN) \n
• Job Summary : \n\nThe Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients by : \n\n+ Utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status\n\n+ Providing care to patients with medical and surgical diagnoses\n\n+ Implementing clinical nursing interventions\n\n+ Having a highly diverse medical skillset\n\n+ Developing and performing patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes\n\n+ Ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment\n
• Essential Functions : \n\n+ Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team\n\n+ Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting and assess patient condition\n\n+ Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes\n\n+ Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and Mercy Health policies and procedures\n\n+ Other duties as assigned\n
• Education : \n\n+ Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred)\n
• Work Experience : \n\n+ Six months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)\n
• Required Licensing & Certifications : \n\n+ Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)\n\n+ BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care; ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support acceptable in lieu of BLS)\n\nAs a Bon Secours Mercy Health associate, you're part of a Mission that matters.
