Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative at Sunrise Sanitation Services, Inc. serves as the first point of contact for our customers. This role is essential in ensuring prompt, courteous, and accurate communication while supporting the scheduling of services, billing inquiries, and account management. The Customer Service Representative works closely with the Dispatch, Operations, and Sales teams to deliver reliable service and uphold our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Communication
Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and messages in a professional and timely manner
Assist customers with account setup, service scheduling, and payment processing
Provide accurate information about services, pricing, and policies
Handle customer concerns by collaborating with Dispatch and Operations to resolve issues promptly
Billing & Records Management
Process customer payments and deposits with accuracy
Maintain up-to-date customer account information and records
Assist with invoicing and account adjustments as needed
Generate reports using Excel and office systems
Team Collaboration
Coordinate with Dispatch on service requests, scheduling, and updates
Partner with Sales to provide customers with information about service options
Support internal teams with customer-related data and account documentation
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
Prior customer service or administrative experience required (waste industry experience a plus)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities
Work Environment
This is a part-time position averaging 20 hours per week. Hours are as follows :
Monday : 7 : 30 AM – 2 : 00 PM (6.5 hrs)
Tuesday : 10 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM (4.5 hrs), 4 : 30 PM – 5 : 00 PM (0.5 hr)
Wednesday : 10 : 00 AM – 1 : 30 PM (3.5 hrs)
Thursday : 10 : 00 AM – 12 : 30 PM (2.5 hrs)
Friday : 10 : 00 AM – 12 : 30 PM (2.5 hrs)
Hours are subject to change if there are adjustments to peak times or special events.
