Manufacturing Engineer CNC

We are currently seeking Manufacturing Engineer CNC (in all Levels) for a supplier in the automotive industry specializing in drive shafts.

This is a direct hire role based in Charleston, SC that requires onsite presence.

PURPOSE :

• Responsible for the manufacturing processes of sub-assemblies and finished product for a designated manufacturing area.
• Focus on achieving key product indicators including safety, cost, quality and delivery.
• Manage continuous improvement projects and determine root cause of production issues.
• Work is of the technical nature where independent judgment is used and decisions are made within the limits of general practice policies.

REQUIRED SKILLS :

Familiarity with Tier I and / or Tier II automotive supplier specifications Experience with PLC logic, vision, force / distance control and monitoring, torque and marking systems Familiarity with friction welding, assembly, balancing, and / or electro-static painting, and CNC processes Demonstrated structured problem solving skills Ability to program / troubleshoot Siemens based controllers PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
