Description :
This position will be in a brand-new Critical Care Tower.
It is a premier facility with new rooms, resources, and state-of-the-art technology.
The overall hospital capacity for patients has been increased.
Health professionals will have the opportunity to build careers in this innovative medical facility.
No Christmas time off is allowed from 12 / 24-12 / 25.
COVID vaccination is required, with religious and medical exemptions accepted upon completion of the exemption form signed by a provider.
Pre and post cath lab procedures are required.
Pre and post IR procedures are also required.
First-time travelers are accepted upon screening by the client.
Registered nurses will need to float within scope to meet facility needs.
The nurse to patient ratio is typically 1 : 2, whereas it can be 1 : 3-5 in some instances.
Weekend work is required once per month.
On-call work is required for 1-2 overnight shifts monthly.
Experience managing pediatric patients is essential.
This facility serves a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, and geriatrics.
Services provided include general surgery, ENT, robotic surgeries, and more.
The PACU nurses will float to the Holding area in the PACU department.
Nurses will need to be familiar with handling ventilated patients and recognizing and managing dysrhythmias.
Applicants must have previous charge experience.
The ability to manage a high patient load and work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
