Arizona Nursing Job Details Location : Flagstaff, Arizona 86001 Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract Start Date : December 1, 2025 End Date : March 2, 2026 Shift : 3x12 hour day shifts / week (start times 06 : 00 - 10 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week (facility may call off up to 6 times per contract) Estimated Weekly Pay : $1550-$1660 On-Call : 4 weeknights, up to 3 weekends, and 1 holiday shift Weekend Requirement : As needed Floating : Required to float to TASC Ambulatory Surgical Center Scrubs : Provided for PACU nurses Charting : Cerner EMR system Free Parking PACU RN Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent PACU RN experience Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact nursing license (pending submission accepted) BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required CPAN certification preferred Experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations Background in Level I and II trauma hospital settings Familiarity with Cerner charting system preferred Ability to float to outpatient / ambulatory surgical centers Comfortable caring for diverse patient diagnoses in both inpatient and ambulatory healthcare settings PACU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in PACU phase I and II recovery Care for patients of all ages recovering from surgical procedures Monitor ventilated patients and respond to dysrhythmias Float to TASC Ambulatory Surgical Center as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy) Follow hospital safety and quality standards, including medication administration protocols Participate in on-call rotation, weekend, and holiday shifts Accurately document patient care in Cerner EMR Experience rewarding Arizona nursing jobs and explore Flagstaff while making a difference in patient care.
