About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 2 years of Med / Tele RN experience

License : Current RN License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Must-Have : General Med / Tele skillset, including cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating cardiac drips, IV start skills, blood product administration, wound care, and more.

Description :

Licensed for 457 beds.

Level 3 Trauma facility.

Stroke Center of Excellence.

Bariatric Center of Excellence.

Chest Pain Center.

Department Information :

Average patient census is 51 per day.

Department promotes teamwork and accountability.

Common patient types include chronic diseases, heart failure, mental health, addiction services, COPD, diabetes, wounds, and geriatrics.

Floating within the region and scope of practice is required as per department needs.

General department support includes a Nurse Manager, Administrative Clinical Supervisor, staff RNs, CNAs, Clinical Mentors, Rapid Response RNs, and House Supervisors.

Technology utilized includes EMR and department-specific equipment such as scales, EKGs, and telemedicine carts.

Applicants must possess general Med / Tele skills and be adaptable to various patient care situations.

Candidates will be expected to manage patients with tubes and drains and perform dressing changes and IV insertions.
