We have partnered with one of the largest faith-based, non-profit healthcare systems in Texas to find them a System Manager of Financial Reporting, and I wanted to see if you might know someone that would have an interest in hearing more.

This manager would have two staff analysts reporting to them and report to the Vice President of Financial and Regulatory Reporting. As the organization’s center of excellence for financial reporting, this position oversees the release of financial information to the public and serves as the primary liaison for external audits. This Manager will establish and enforce accounting and financial reporting policies, manage FASB implementations, and provide technical accounting guidance for complex or unique transactions.

This leader will manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. The ideal candidate will have six years of demonstrated leadership experience over the accounting or financial reporting function. Someone with a background from the Big 4 Accounting strongly preferred and a CPA will be required upon hire.

The salary midpoint for this role is $140,000.00 and is based on years of experience and education.

Must Have Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree Accounting or related field required, Master's Degree Accounting or related field preferred
• 6 years demonstrated experience leading accounting or financial reporting function and relevant work experience required
• CPA - Certified Public Accountant required upon hire
