Job descriptionEducation : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Licensure : New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) License required. Certifications : Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required; Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Experience : Mechanical ventilation and ostomy care experience mandatory. Travel nursing experience (1 year) preferred for travel positions. Technical Skills : EPIC electronic health record system experience highly preferred. Other : Ability to work night shifts; strong clinical judgment and leadership skills; excellent communication and teamwork.

Shift : Nights, 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM (3 shifts per week; 3 weekends per 4 weeks)
Duration : 13 weeks
Hours : 11.5 hours per shift, 34.5 hours per week
Unit Census : 45-46 beds, Staff Ratio 1 : 1 to 1 : 3
Pay Rate : $70 / hour negotiable (
- Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)
Role Overview :
Registered Professional Nurse providing expert, evidence-based care to neonatal patients and their families within a Level 3 & 4 NICU setting. The role includes patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, quality and safety initiatives, operational coordination, and professional development, ensuring exceptional outcomes in Women & Children's Services.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 3 years hospital nursing experience, including at least 2 years in neonatal ICU (NICU Level 3 & 4).
