Base pay range

$50.00 / hr - $78.00 / hr

Enterprise Security – Senior Security Engineer needed for Remote position based out of Boston, MA. All candidates must be physically located in the US and able to work EST hours. Only candidates able and willing to work on our W2 without requiring sponsorship will be considered.

As a Senior Security Engineer in Information Security, you will be faced with the challenge of assessing and mitigating the risk of doing business in today's hyper-connected world. Whether designing, developing, or reviewing security solutions, you will focus your energy on the protection of the company's assets and data. You will work with a team of engineers who work directly with our engineering organizations providing security design guidance for new applications and systems, technical expertise in support of security incidents and vulnerability management, and conduct security reviews of applications and services that support our business.

Responsibilities

• Researching and staying current on malware and vulnerability types and delivery mechanisms, and detection and response strategies for malware and advanced persistent threats.
• Conducting network and application security assessments to identify risks and provide mitigation strategies.
• Assisting with design and deployment of security risk mitigation technologies and strategies.
• Developing and maintaining open source security data lakehouse including analysis and instrumentation of security events.
• Investigating and providing guidance for the secure deployment and usage of infrastructure-as-a-service and other cloud applications.
• Performing compliance and policy-based investigations of internal systems.
• Documenting security guidelines, procedures, and policies.
• Providing security guidance and consultation to business units.
• Developing scripts and tools to support the above functions.
