As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, provide clear communication, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime Thur 02 : 30 PM - 10 : 30 PM Sun 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify any irregularities.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter potential disruptions and unauthorized access.
  • Report any observed security-related hazards, suspicious activities, or incidents to the appropriate authorities and / or site management promptly.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and credentials as required by site policies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences as directed by site management.
  • Provide support to staff, visitors, and / or clients by answering security-related questions and offering directions as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
