The Die Setter‘s primary responsibility is to ensure a correct and proper mold change is done and certified in a safe and timely fashion, when required by scheduling or engineering. Reports functionally to the Section Supervisor and General Forman.

Report to work with the correct tools to do the job.
Complete Mold change timely.
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year or more of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Plastic Injection Molding background is helpful.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires that the employee be able to lift up to 50 pounds, without requiring assistance such as a dolly, forklift, or another team member. This position also includes frequent and prolonged periods of standing / walking, pushing / pulling or moving / lifting supplies. This position experiences frequent / occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, repetitive motion and gripping. Must comply with all safety requirements including use of the personal protection equipment required for this position.
