Job Description
We seek a Visiting Professor faculty member to teach academic, scientific, and professional writing and academic skills to graduate students primarily pursuing degrees in health care and / or biomedical science. Candidates with experience in writing centers and writing instruction, and / or teaching academic skills (such as test-taking strategy, board prep, and / or active learning study strategies) are invited to apply.
For writing and academic skills instruction, our teaching occurs primarily in scheduled one-on-one sessions with students (online as well as in person). When comfortable with the institution's student population and curricular expectations, the faculty member will also conduct seminars on studying, test taking and writing skills for academic and professional success to those enrolled in health-related and biomedical science degree programs and faculty in our six colleges : Dental Medicine, Health Professions, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Graduate Studies.

Compensation : The position is for an initial 6-month (January 1- June 30) renewing temporary faculty appointment with generous leave, competitive salary, and benefits.
