Qualifications

  • 5 years of applicable professional experience in database engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Additional 5 years of applicable professional experience may be substituted for a degree

Required Experience

  • Database experience using MongoDB or MariaDB, including :

    • deployment and management of the database itself

  • debugging of optimization issues
  • scaling

    • Desired Experience

  • Python, Django or Flask
  • ReST Endpoint Development
  • Micro-Service Model
  • Swagger
  • AWS, C2S or other cloud experience
  • Docker
  • Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs, JSON and / or XML serialization
  • Jira, Confluence
  • Git version control
  • Experience working in Agile environment

    • Salary and Benefits

  • Salary : $115,000 - $125,000 annually
  • Excellent benefits package including 25 days PTO, 11 paid holidays, 100% employer-paid healthcare for employees and dependents – available day 1, 7.5% 401(k) employer match – immediate vesting.
