Desktop Support Technician

A Fortune 50 financial services company is seeking a highly motivated Desktop Support Technician to join their team in the McLean, VA area.

Responsibilities :

• Provide Tier 1 or Tier 2 diagnostics and troubleshooting for hardware and software
• Support and maintain PCs, laptops, and thin client devices across the organization
• Document all work performed, maintaining clear and accurate ticket notes within ServiceNow
• Support Asset Management and Inventory Control activities in,cluding scanning, updating, tracking, collecting, and reconciling IT assets to ensure accuracy and equipment availability
• Perform employee moves and workstation setups, including equipment tear-downs, re-installs, and cable management
• Follow established procedures and ensure compliance with operational and security standards
• Collaborate with team members to resolve incidents efficiently and escalate when necessary
• Manage time effectively and work both independently and within a large team environment to meet service delivery goals
