Job Overview – Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist :

Compensation : $260,000 – $300,000 / year

Location : Staten Island, NY

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

TAG MedStaffing is hiring an Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist in Staten Island, NY with our client. In this full-time role, you will conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage treatment for adults with complex mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders. You’ll collaborate with therapists and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while mentoring residents in a supportive, team-based outpatient environment. Proficiency in Meditech EMR is required for efficient documentation and care coordination.

Responsibilities as the Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist :

• Patient Care : Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, create individualized treatment plans, and manage follow-up medication appointments.
• Medication Management : Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, ensuring safe and effective treatment outcomes.
• Collaboration : Work closely with therapists, case managers, and healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, high-quality outpatient care.
• Supervision & Teaching : Supervise residents, participate in didactic lectures, and contribute to clinical education and professional development.
• Patient Load & Documentation : Manage a caseload of patients daily and maintain accurate clinical records in Meditech EMR.
