We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide essential applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement personalized treatment plans aimed at enhancing clients' life skills and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by a BCBA to support clients in overcoming challenges.
- Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in diverse settings, including homes, schools, and community environments.
- Accurately collect and document data on client progress in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, which includes BCBAs and therapists, to ensure cohesive treatment delivery.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) as needed to guide intervention strategies.
- Assist clients in learning and applying new skills across various environments.
- Implement strategies to reduce challenging behaviors while promoting positive alternatives.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills in ABA.
- Establish and maintain a supportive relationship with clients, families, and team members.
- Abide by ethical standards and client confidentiality requirements set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.Completion of a 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician training program.Current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).Both Part Time and Full Time positions are available.Earn an additional $14 for every 7 hours worked.Compensation is competitive and based on experience.Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to diligently follow and implement behavior intervention plans.Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a strong desire to positively impact individuals with special needs.Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
