Accounting Supervisor

This position is the primary backup to the Finance Director. Under the direction of and in coordination with the Finance Director, this role will be responsible for the management of the City's general accounting functions and assist in the management and oversight of the general ledger, budget preparation and monitoring, as well as review of payroll entries, accounts payable and accounts receivable. This role accumulates financial data and verifies it for accuracy in preparation for all City accounting processes. This position may provide technical guidance and supervision to other Finance Department personnel and other City departments.
