Assistant Golf Superintendent

The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent is one who is entrusted alongside the Golf Superintendent with the maintenance, of the Links at LaBelle Winery and its related 18 hole mini golf course.

Successful candidate will be self-motivating and self-managing.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Embodies our core values at all times Assist in routine building maintenance tasks to include electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and plumbing as it relates to the golf course.
• Responsible for assisting in all phases of LaBelle Winery Golf Course maintenance and operations including but not limited to mowing grass, raking bunkers, weed whacking, leaf blowing and irrigation maintenance.
• Assist to enforce all golf courses rules, regulations and policies.
• Work to maintain the golf course in a fiscally responsible and professional manner.
• Assist in maintaining the turf, practice areas, driving range, ornamental plants, shrubs, trees and wetlands on our facility grounds.
• Participate in the responsibility for planting new vegetation, spraying, pruning, and trimming of trees and shrubs, the preparation of soil plant beds for aesthetically pleasing arrangements and tending to high stress areas.
• Assist in managing a water usage tracking plan for irrigation systems and provides annual reporting on retaining ponds, wells, and other water source usage.
• Assist in maintaining capital equipment in every way to prolong life.
• Supervises and participates in the application and recording of chemical applications such as fertilizers and pesticides on the grounds in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Work with facilities to construct, maintain and disable LaBelle Lights every season.
