Electrical Distribution Engineer

Staffing One is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Distribution Engineer residing within 25 miles of Lawrenceville, GA!

• Experience :
• Minimum of 2 years of responsible electrical distribution experience required.
• Experience in engineering design and layout for electric distribution system expansion, power requirements, and related specifications and codes.
• Line experience is preferred.
• Knowledge :
• Working knowledge of engineering principles and practices for designing electrical distribution systems (overhead and underground).
• Familiarity with National Electric Code, National Electrical Safety Code, RUS Specifications, and construction assemblies.
• Knowledge of managerial functions for effective team motivation.
• NISC Software experience is preferred.
• Degree Required.
• Skills :
• Strong leadership and communication skills (written and oral).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient in problem evaluation and system planning.
• Competent in directing team projects and maintaining morale.
• Skilled in leveraging technology for departmental goals.
• Ability to ensure maximum efficiency of personnel and resources.
• Proficient in staking line extensions, conducting voltage checks, and drafting sketches.
• Capable of applying codes and procedures with judgment and independent decision-making.
• Adherence to schedules and work standards, contributing to workflow effectiveness.
• Planning and budgeting skills for program development and evaluation.

This is a long-term Contract position with potential for contract-to-hire. Hourly salary ranges from $27.50 to $30.00 for candidates with 2 years of experience, with rates adjusted based on experience level. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply!
