Qualifications
Minimum Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements :
1. Education : Completion of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
2. Experience : Minimum of 2 years as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a hospital setting.
3. Ongoing training and competency completion as per departmental requirements.
Required Licenses and Certifications :
1. One of the following :
2. Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Department of Health.
Your Responsibilities :
1. Supervise staff and ensure efficient section operations, motivating team members to maximize productivity.
2. Conduct meetings that foster collaboration and idea-sharing among team members.
3. Maintain equipment and inventory, coordinating with vendors for optimal performance and minimal disruption to care.
4. Assess the broader implications of decisions and communicate effectively with other departments.
5. Analyze data to identify issues, considering all aspects before implementing solutions.
6. Utilize resources efficiently in alignment with departmental productivity standards.
Additional Responsibilities :
1. Potential access to radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents as required for procedures.
2. Uphold the mission and values of Methodist Healthcare, demonstrating excellent customer service at all times.
3. Stay compliant with safety protocols and address any unsafe conditions promptly.
4. Adhere to the MHS Code of Conduct, reporting any violations as necessary.
5. Complete other duties as assigned, including obtaining Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
