McGrath Kia of Hiawatha is looking for experienced and Kia Master-Certified Technicians to join our high-performing service team. What We’re Looking For

3–5+ years of professional experience as an automotive technician (Kia experience required or preferred)
Kia Master Certification or progression toward completion of Kia STEP / Master training
Proven diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting ability using Kia KDS or comparable OEM tools
Commitment to OEM repair standards, precision workmanship, and safety protocols
Dependable, motivated professional with strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to mentor and support entry- and mid-level technicians
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

What You’ll Do

Perform accurate diagnostics and advanced repairs on Kia vehicles, including electrical, engine, and drivability concerns

Use Kia’s KDS diagnostic system and follow manufacturer repair guidelines

Communicate findings clearly with Service Advisors and customers

Support team productivity and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Participate in Kia factory training to stay current on model updates and emerging technologies

Mentor junior technicians and contribute to a professional, collaborative shop environment
