Job Description

Location : In-person, Seattle, WA

Hours : 10–20 hours / week (flexible), with possibility to expand to more hours or a supervisory role over time

Compensation : Up to $24 per hour (depending on experience), with opportunity to move toward lead / supervisor rates as responsibilities grow.

What You’ll Do

Core Fulfillment & Warehouse Duties :

  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with accuracy and speed
  • Use Shopify for order management and ShipStation for shipping logistics
  • Receive inventory, label, unpack, and restock as needed
  • Keep warehouse organized, clean, and efficient
  • Monitor for shipping errors, damage, quality issues, and help troubleshoot
  • Assist with periodic inventory counts or cycle counts

Operational / Leadership :

  • Help define and monitor performance metrics (e.g. order accuracy, throughput, error rates)
  • Enforce operational standards and best practices in the warehouse
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and informal supervision to other fulfillment staff
  • Identify process improvements and help implement changes
  • Assist with training newer staff or cross-training
  • Lead small team huddles or planning as needed
  • What We’re Looking For

    Must-Have Qualifications :

  • 1+ year experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics role (or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with Shopify and / or ShipStation (or strong willingness / ability to learn quickly)
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy under time pressure
  • Physically capable of lifting packages (up to ~40 lbs) regularly
  • Strong communicator and collaborator
  • Operational mindset : interest in metrics, process, and continuous improvement
  • Able to adapt, cross-train, and shift between roles (pick, pack, receiving, etc.)
  • Nice-to-Have :

  • Prior leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience (even informal)
  • Experience setting or tracking KPIs (e.g. throughput, error rates)
  • Experience with other warehouse management systems or order-fulfillment software
  • Basic data skills (spreadsheets, reporting)
