Dietary Aide

Our dedicated team ensures a nurturing environment where seniors thrive and find joy in every moment.

We are looking for a positive and reliable Dietary Aides who understands how important his / her work is to providing quality care for residents.

Available shifts :

• 6 am -2 : 30 pm every other weekend
• 4 pm -7 pm Thursday and Friday then 6a-2 : 30p Saturday and Sunday, then 4p-7p on Monday.
• 3 : 30 pm -7 pm Monday-Thursday

Main responsibilities :

Maintaining the cleanliness of food preparation areas

Serving food to residents in the lunchroom / bringing food to residents in their rooms

Cleaning eating areas after meals

Bringing in delivered food items from vendors providers and stocking the pantry / fridge / freezer

Adhering to all health and safety procedures during the process of food preparation

Additional duties as assigned

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :

Knowledge of safe food preparation and handling techniques.

Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.

Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members.

Ability to be patient and polite.

Ability to be accurate, concise and detail-oriented.
